Role: Strategist, Copywriter
Brief: Activate an army of Nick Cage fans to generate conversation and box office sales of the most Nicolas Cage film EVER.
Execution: Leveraging the 100% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes coming out of SXSW, I sold through and executed a number of content series. I had a blast writing scripts and overseeing edits for videos like this “Manbat” spoof (3.3M views) as well as subverting fan questions, one of which got picked up by BuzzFeed. In addition to creating content around the film, I also wrote post copy for all of the UWMT accounts (TW, FB, IG), embracing the ridiculous nature of the film.
