Role: Senior Creative Strategist
Brief: Launch the first official Transformers TikTok account and drive ticket sales for the feature film "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts." The goal was to ignite fan engagement and broaden awareness amongst both legacy enthusiasts and potential new fans in preparation for the film's premiere.
Execution: After conducting a thorough audit of the social conversations surrounding the Transformers brand, I identified unique opportunities to engage the community. By highlighting inside jokes, iconic moments, and leveraging cutting-edge immersive filters, I managed a team to craft a nostalgic yet forward-thinking narrative. As anticipation peaked nearing premiere weekend, our efforts culminated in the film's debut as the number one movie worldwide.
In just six months, our strategic content rollout propelled the Transformers TikTok to staggering heights: over 231.7 million views and 15 million likes. The campaign's creativity and impact were recognized with a Clio nomination, and I had the pleasure of scripting the accompanying submission video that you can find above.
