Brief: Excite music fans and Velvet Underground die hards around Todd Haines' irreverent documentary, streaming exclusively on Apple TV+.
Execution: I developed a digital campaign, focusing on the band's irrefutable influence, regardless of how they were initially received. The main piece was a 10-slate “spread” – an editorialized, zine-inspired carousel. For the piece, I pulled quotes, managed the design process, and interviewed Todd Haines. I also wrote interview questions for artists like Kurt Vile and King Princess which highlighted the band's unparalleled influence and impact on culture.
